Strawberry & Almond Butter Oat Bars
It's Strawberry season and we can't get enough of the strawberry-nut butter combination. Our Strawberry & Almond Butter Oat Bars combine a biscuity base (one which we can only compare to a hobnob!) with a layer of our Almond Butter Flapjack combined with fresh, juicy strawberries. This is the dream summer treat, not to mention it's refined sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. All you need to make it is our Almond Butter Flapjack Kit and some oat Flour.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
2 tbsp oat flour (35g)
50g chopped strawberries
Line the baking tray provided with greaseproof paper.
follow the instructions on the back of the Almond butter Flapjack kit and combine both sachets thoroughly in a bowl.
Take 150g of mixture and combine with the oat flour. You may need to use your hands here.
press the mixture into the base of the baking tray to form the base layer.
add the strawberries to the remaining mixture then spread on top of the base layer. Make sure that the strawberries are evenly distributed.
bake for 20 minutes at the temperature stated on the kit.
remove from oven and mark out into bar shapes after 5 minutes.
Allow to cool fully before you tuck in & enjoy!
